We are a church that takes seriously Jesus’ command in Matthew 28:19-20 to “make disciples,” so we intentionally and unapologetically focus on helping people find and follow Jesus by uniting around a ministry vision we call the 7 Habits.
What does it mean when we say we are "one church in multiple locations"? In the most basic terms, we share the same mission, vision, elders, budget, leadership structure, programs, and processes, but all these things happen in two locations! It is the same missional focused experience at multiple sites!
We believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God, who died for our sins and rose from the dead, and that the Bible is the inspired word of God – a lamp for our feet and a light for our path.
Our pastoral and administrative staff are called to equip the saints for the work of ministry, the purpose of maturity, and the goal of the mission of the gospel (Ephesians 4:11-16; cf. Matthew 28:18-20; John 17:18, 20:21; Romans 10:14-15; 2 Timothy 2:2; 1 Peter 2:9; 1 John 1:2-3).
Our strategy is broken down into what we call the 7 Habits because we become what we repeatedly do. They are what shape us into an environment that is all about Helping people find and follow Jesus!
For everything you need to know about how we carry out our mission of Helping people find and follow Jesus, including our basic doctrinal commitments, we encourage you to attend Next Steps, which is 4 sessions that take place on Sunday mornings and can be done in any order, over any length of time, and it’s all about how our 7 Habits are designed to connect you to God’s vision for your life! It’s an interactive experience where you’ll meet other people, play some games, eat some donuts, and learn all about our vision at FCC.
