Alison has been active at First Christian Church since January 1999, serving in many areas, from nursery, to children’s ministry, to youth ministry, where she served as a youth small group leader for five years. She began volunteering in the church office in 2010 and has been on staff since July 2011. In early 2013, Alison’s responsibilities expanded to include our Connections Ministry–integrating people into the body of Christ, and in Fall 2017, leadership of re:generation recovery (www.regenerationrecovery.org). She loves music, reading, gardening, and hanging out with her kids and grandkids, often at the local skatepark. She has an adventurous side and enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, skydiving, and whitewater rafting (her favorite!). A little known fact about Alison is that she has a huge interest in neurobiology. That bent, along with her desire to help people better connect with God, with themselves, and with the body of Christ, is the passion that drives her work!
